Dr. Marcus Andrepont and Dr. Francine Manuel of Lafayette are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter Aimee Blayne Andrepont to Dr. Jon Scott Decuir Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. J. Scott and Loren Decuir of New Iberia.
The couple will unite in Holy Matrimony April 6, 2019, at Immaculate Conception Jesuit Church in New Orleans with a reception to follow at Broussard’s Restaurant & Courtyard.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Nelton Andrepont of Eunice, the late Anna Chautin Andrepont and the late John and Geneva Manuel. She is a 2008 graduate of St. Thomas More High School and a 2011 summa cum laude graduate of Louisiana State University where she earned Bachelor of Arts degrees in French and International Studies. She is a member of Kappa Alpha Theta sorority. She is a 2016 cum laude graduate of Tulane Law School with a Juris Doctorate. She is currently employed as an associate at Jones Walker LLP in New Orleans.
The prospective groom is the grandson of Judge Oswald and Loretta Decuir of New Iberia, and Charles and Lillie Mancuso of Baton Rouge. He is a 2007 Honor Graduate of New Iberia Senior High School and 2011 graduate of Louisiana State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Engineering. In 2015, he received his Doctorate of Medicine from Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans. He is currently a cardiology fellow at LSU Health Sciences Center in New Orleans.
