Iberia Parish Sheriff Tommy Romero released this statement today along with a press release announcing the arrest of Hansel Hulin, 45, on charges of first-degree rape and malfeasance in office. The charges stem from a March 2021 incident involving a prisoner Hulin was transporting to another facility.
